This [***] called a Partner at our firm and demanded to speak to him. He tried to sound as if he knew the Partner by asking for him by first name. When I asked to take a msg, he demanded voicemail. I instead said he can give me his name and number. He told me his name was "Mr. Barken". He demanded voicemail again but I told him I would give the Partner his info and hung up. He called right back and said "you forgot to put me in voicemail." I told him that I take all of his msg's, as he prefers that over voicemail. So Mr. Barken replies: "what kind of attorney doesn't use voicemail?!" Of course, he had a nasty attitude when he asked this. So I asked him what company he was calling from. He hesitated, so I asked again. He stutters out: "this is a personal matter! I'll just call his cell. This is ridiculous!" lol. I told him to go ahead and call him on his cell then.
