Fraud claiming my computer is infected and they need access... false, I am a computer programmer and builder... multiple calls on multiple days…

"Charlie" called yesterday.  Said while monitoring my computer they recognized a serious virus.  Wanted me to type in web address to "fix" my computer.  Won't be posting the web address.   When I told him I was having internet problems and could he call me back in a couple hours.  He said he would.... and he did...to bad.  I wasn't home. Had a prior engagement ;)   Call comes in as unknown but he gave me this number so I could call him back if my internet started working before the 2 hours.

I received a call from "Dirk" from this number who said his company is the one we had hired to take care of any computer problems we had. He started asking questions which I was hesitant to answer. I asked him my customer ID number and he rattled a number off that I can not find on any communications we had with "LapComCare-LLC. I asked if I could call him back because I wanted to call his company and low and behold the computer help number I had been given had been "turned off" and "could (I) call back later". Hmmmmm... seems to me I may have been scammed by that company. Have not called "Dirk" back. I will see if they contact me by replying to my e-mail I sent them. If so we will see what they have to say. I have had many such calls since we started with this company and I am not sure what is up at this time

call from David saying my computer had a serious virus.

caller said he was from Windows PC.  I asked him for the number he was calling from and he gave me 646-741-2786.  I told him to stop calling our number.  He said he already did work on our computer and he needs to talk to my husband.  I told him if he did work on our computer that was on him.  I told him if we want security or computer services, we will call him.  He shouldn't be calling us claiming computer errors that he has been monitoring.    He hung up on me once I called him out.
