Called saying I was being sued by irs for tax fraud. And that I would be arrested in 45 mins

Just got this call. Recording. Said I was being sued by the IRS and would be arrested if I didn't take action by calling a hotline number.

Me too!  Said id be arrested and it was the treasury calling.

Yes, this is a phishing scheme and you should not respond to it. It is a recording stating that you are being sued by the IRS and would be arrested if you don't take action by calling a hotline number. Block it and then delete it.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
