Typical Indian / Pakistani / Bangladeshi phone scam, using spoofed numbers!!!
----The threatening call is claiming to be from an officer from the United States Treasury, and it demands that recipient phone back (646) 740-0305 /1-646-740-0305, to pay (by credit card or PayPal, on the phone) a settlement thus avoid claims court and arrest. Again caller is identifying himself as "U.S. Treasury federal officer"! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!

I got the same call (1-646-740-0305) from various accents!!!... claiming to be part of the US Treasury with the same threats as Ray.  I totally agree with you. These SCAMMERS should be the ones arrested,  because I know that I have done no wrong and they can only be up to NO GOOD!

You're right Raymond.  However the callers are (1-646-740-0305), for the most part, located in India and/or Pakistan.  As such they may be beyond the reach of US law.  And they spoof local numbers.  Invest in a call blocker and do NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.

Callers claim to be from US treasury clearly a scam ! Block number immediately & forget about it

Reported I qualified for 7000.00 and didn't have to pay bank. BUT HAD TO PAY 300 FOR THE 7000.00.  FREAKING [***] INDIA MUSLIM SCAMMERS
