Received a call at 5:33 PST, pre-recorded telemarketing scam, saying I had won some [***] cruise to Orlando. Block if you can

Interesting comments. The call I just recieved was a live person (obviously using a script) offering a free security system update. I don't own a home and this isn't consistent with the experience of othets.

They hung up right when I picked up.

I received a call from this number stating that they were calling from a warranty service. It was a recorded voice. When I called the number back, I got a message saying that the survey I participated in had ended and to hit 9 to be removed from future calling lists.
