Threat with legal action from IRS

The IRS reminds people that they can know pretty easily when a supposed IRS caller is a fake. Here are five things the scammers often do but the IRS will not do. Any one of these five things is a tell-tale sign of a scam. The IRS will never:
Call to demand immediate payment, nor will we call about taxes owed without first having mailed you a bill..

Demand that you pay taxes without giving you the opportunity to question or appeal the amount they say you owe.

Require you to use a specific payment method for your taxes, such as a prepaid debit card.

Ask for credit or debit card numbers over the phone.

Threaten to bring in local police or other law-enforcement groups to have you arrested for not paying.

Received a call saying my payment plan is terminated. And it has been determined that I intentionally cheated the government. Stated my account would be levied reported to the credit companies and served with a warrant picked up and arrested. They had my husbands name as well.

This is a scam, love when they call constantly, they threaten to send the local police out to arrest me on a daily basis. To funny stupid [***].

Received  call from 646-647-8316 said they were from IRS Investigation Dept. and that IRS has filed suite against me and they need my Lawyers info. Now I think the IRS was send out a letter stating all this and that someone from there office might call. Pretty sure this is a scam because I do not owe the IRS anything, so why would they file a suite against me. Also I did call the number above and a woman with strange accent answered could barley understand her, when I told her that I owe the IRS nothing and I was giving no info on the phone and when I received something in the mail from IRS I would respond to it until then they would receive nothing from me. She then started saying "can you hear me, what is going on." I told her that I could hear her and that I was hanging up and waiting on a letter from IRS. I hate things like this happening because so many elderly people do not know not to give out info and before you know it they will be given them bank account number and such and then their accounts will have a zero balance.
