Wanted me to send him a text message regarding an online sale

Same here. I have an SUV listed for sale on several sites and he only wants to communicate via email. Scam.

This same JERK, texted me at 3:48 a.m. From an Internet Sales site:
"Hi how you doing, I'm very interested and ready to buy this item.. So please kindly text me right now 6464395597 thanks."

Text me at 4:45 a.m. this morning said he was looking at a dryer for sale and wanted to send me a check to hold it told him I would give him my address and North Carolina I will not give me the address of this house have not heard back from him sounds kind of weird for somebody to want to buy used dryer in New York and have it shipped up there

Your post is confusing. Did you give him your home address?
If you do get a check, it will probably be counterfeit or for a non-existent bank account.
Turn it over to your postmaster for an investigation.
