Left a message on my answering machine.   Automated voice claiming the IRS is suing me.  Yeah,  right.    Obviously a scam.

Automated message was left on my home phone that I was going to receive a lawsuit, to please contact 646-368-8608.  I called and was told that I had a Fed tax violation through audit performed 2008 - 2014 due to suspicious activity.  Lawsuit was going to be presented for violation of federal taxes, tax fraud and willful misrepresentation. News to me!

Within 30 minutes, I was to be arrested by local authorities.  Penalty: Pay $7,489 Back Tax, Pay $67,000 Legal Fees, Serve 2-1/2 Years in Federal Prison, Call to Employer and Contact Local and National News Agencies. While I was put on hold for IRS rep to work with IRS to avoid lawsuit, I contacted local police department with a different phone while waiting. IRS rep hung up.

Sean Davis, Badge#100473415 was the internal IRS officer.  Connat Myer is the outside collections officer from the Better Business Bureau.  I was told that Connat Myer visited my home twice to discuss matter personally and that I was not home, Sept and Oct of 2015.

Be careful out there!

Received a call about a lawsuit. Was requested to return the call to avoid being turned over to local court. Individual who answered had a foreign accent and requested to talk to my son who is a junior. From checking this number on the net, this is a scam.

Received an electronic voicemail regarding some unpaid taxes.  I called the number and talked to a guy with a foreign accent.  He said that I had underpaid my taxes from 2008 thru 2012.  He informed me that if I didn't take care of this matter immediately that I would be arrested within 45 minutes.  He asked me if I wanted to go down to the courthouse and take care of the matter, if not he said he could take care of the matter over the phone.  After I told him I thought the call was fraudulent and called him so not so nice names, he hung up.   I'm still waiting for the police to show up at my front door!

Called 3 consecutive times leaving messages saying there is a lawsuit against (apparently someone in the household) and to call back to avoid going to court. There is no freaking way I would call back a recorded message like this. Scam Man needs to be shut down. The beginning of each message is cut off so there is no name or company identified.
