It's the Government calling, I was selected to receive $9,000 for being an outstanding citizen. All I needed to provide was my bank account number and the money would be in there within the hour. Lucky me huh

They said they were going to send my money to Walmart

I got a call from 646 357 1739. I ignored it. So I curiously look up the number and so we're some comments have been made on it about them being the government and they're going to give you money they need your bank account number or they're going to send it to a local store such as Walmart so I called them back when the lady answered the phone she just said hello may I help you I told her that I had missed a call from them and was trying to find out who they were she said what time was the phone call made and I said around 2:30 she said oh this is the government calling you with an important message would you please provide your name so we can tell you what you are entitled to I told her I said lady I know this is a scam take me off your list and do not call me again because no government official is going to answer the phone hello may I help you without presenting their selfs to who they are you didn't even know why I received the call until I told you the time frame so apparently you are set up on a timeframe to call and say you are different people trying to scam people out of their banking account numbers so do not give people your banking account numbers if you receive a phone call from this number or any other number saying that they are affiliated with the government and you are receiving money and they need your account number because if they owe you money they will mail you a check because they already have your information just keep that in mind.

I forgot to mention in my previous message that I waited until after business hours for our local government before I called them back. That is just more proof that this is a scam.

I've received 7 calls from them just today. I tell them I'm not interested and to put me on their DNC list, get hung up on every time. They say they are the US Government for federal grants. So today I decided to do what they where doing to me... I repeatedly called them and it took them until the 5th time that they blocked me. Win for me! I did block the number as well since it's been the same number every time they call. I did receive one from a different number but that was only once.
