Yes, this is a nationwide baby photography business that pays hospitals to promote their services. When your baby was born, a woman or man dressed as a nurse and appearing to work for the hospital, took some photos of your newborn child (if you approved - which you obviousy did).
When those photos were taken, they gathered information from you. That information was used for telemarketing purposes for this photography company. When they took the initial photos, they say the photos will be shown on the hospital's web site, which they don't necessarily - the photos get posted on this company's site, and when you go to view the photos, you get pointed to one of the company's dozens of dummy sites. It's a big business.
Good rule of thumb: IF YOU WANT YOUR BABY TO BE PHOTOGRAPHED - DO IT YOURSELF OR TAKE YOUR CHILD TO A TRUSTED LOCAL PHOTOGRAPHER AFTER HE/SHE IS RELEASED FROM THE HOSPITAL.
