I got the following SMS from this number:
"Hey XXXX, not sure if you or anyone you know still smokes. But www.23cig.com is giving away free e-cig trials. - Alan"

It was addressed with my nickname which isn't published in general phone directories, so I'm a little miffed as to how my information was retrieved and personalized.  I don't know this person, and I certainly didn't opt in to receive crap like this.
