They used the same exact wording to me just now and I was so convinced I almost gave them my credit card in an attempt not to go to court in the morning.  They said they had a warrant for my arrest and would be filing in 45 minutes.  WE HAVE THE PHONE NUMBER AND WHEN YOU CALL BACK THEY ANSWER IRS, WHY ISN'T ANYONE DOING ANYTHING ABOUT THIS!!!!
I called the police also but was so close in giving them the 3,900.00!!!! OMG!

The IRS does not need to sue anyone.  They send you first class letters delivered by the Post Office.  Several of them.  Ignore those, and they then send certified letters that you need to sign for.  Again delivered by the Post Office.  Ignore those and they simply freeze your bank accounts and anything else you own.  If they can do that, then why would they bother with a court case that might take them years before they get in front of a judge?  They also do not bother arresting people for a few thousand dollars for the same reasons I have already given.

It is NOT the IRS.  It is a LIAR & THIEF calling.  Ignore the call.  You will not be sued as the real IRS mails letters if there is a problem.

Left a voice mail informing me that the IRS is suing me and asking me to call back.  Yeah right!  I will be blocking this number.

SCAMMERS! They say they're the IRS. They had my name and address. I called them back and was silent a bunch of times and they didn't like that very much.
