Same thing. A voice mail stating the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and I should call them back. The IRS doesn't call. Watch out for this scam.

Should I be worried about fraud already? I did not call back or anything and I know this is a scam but, what information do these people already have??

They have your phone number.
If they had any other personal info, they would have tried to use it to convince you their call was legitimate.
However, if you published ANY of your personal info on the web, somebody has it. Google your name to see some of what "they" know.

Same thing here called them back, someone there with thick Indian accent claims that a lawyer is suing me on behalf of the IRS because I haven't paid back taxes and it was their last attempt to contact me. I asked him how the weather was in Bangalore today and he hung up on me...

Returned this phone call believing it was the IRS. They said I owed back taxes from 2009 - 2014. They asked if I had a criminal lawyer cause I have will need one cause they claimed I was fraudulent while filing my taxes and there is a warrent for my arrest and the police will come knock down my door in 45min. I freaked out!! They were very serious about this and had me fooled. They said the only way hey can stop the dispatch was for to keep me on the phone while I withdraw money from my bank saying it was for personal reasons and back taxes. I knew the manager at the bank so I went to him about the call. He asked who this was and they hung up the phone. I seriously did not know how to handle this and believed I was going to jail cause they sounded so convincing. I called 911 after and said it was a scam. I'm so glad I didn't give them money.
