Got a text from +1-636-465-9751 as follows:
"Hi,I am Donald Millsby name.. i saw your post (Mini Chocolate Dapple Dachshund ) on craigslist.org let me know if you still have it available for sale..I am interested in buying asap..Thanks"
"Okay,i will pay your asking price,am currently at work.. I work at the sea as an Oceanography.. due to this i will not be able to come see the item or do the pick up myself and pay via cash,due to that i will be paying you via check so after the check has been cash by you i will ask my mover's to come for the pick up at your location"
Needless to say, I didn't respond. I knew it was a scam. We looked him up and found allegations of him buying with a fake check then flipping property and animals for a LARGE profit. I was selling the pup for $350 when he is worth well over $1000. A hefty tax free profit for him.
Please beware.
