28 Sep. Called ID said Maritz Research. Caller stated he was from Bank of America and was looking for a person whose name I do not recall. Apologized when told I thought he had a wrong number.

They are Maritz Research. They do consumer research for anyone who will hire them. So if you answered and there was no one there, they just determined when might be the best time for their scads of clients to call your home to sell their wares. Oh. Doesn't matter if you and I are on the Do Not Call list as that is a bogus government entity that serves no purpose or function.
