cold call from financing company

Got a call for the owner and when I offered to take a message, he said "I'll just call him on his cell."  Good luck, he doesn't have one, and we don't do business with liars!

I got that line as well, "I'll get him on his cell phone" - laughable.  Lying does not make one more reputable.

Same here. I always laugh at the line, "I willl call him on his cell". That is when I say "Ok, what number do you have on file for him because he recently changed his number". That is when they hang up on you. They talk as if they are bff's with the owner and know them personally.

I called this number back.  The gentleman who picked up said he wanted to sleep with my wife and asked me to blow him.  I hung up.
