"You've been selected to take advantage of a little known credit repair loophole designed to fix your credit..." If only improving your credit history were so easy!

Scammers promising wonderful things using an emotional tone ("...get approved for that nicer house, new car, and better interest rates on your credit card..." many of which are impossible to do) and will soak you to do something you could do yourself. It is nearly impossible to erase poor, but accurate, credit history until the passage of time causes your poor history to disappear. Don't even bother to press [9] to have your number removed from their call list, they'll never bother to remove you, you're on their list forever and they're anxious to take every opportunity available to scam you.

Here is a transcript of this scam credit improvement call:

[female voice] "Attention. You've been selected to take advantage of a little known credit repair loophole designed to fix your credit. This credit repair loophole will help you get approved for that nicer house, new car, and better interest rates on your credit card. To take advantage of this credit repair loophole, please press [1] to speak with a credit repair specialist. Again, please press [1] to speak with a specialist now to fix your credit. To stop all calls from us. Please press [9] now."
