I had several calls from 631-866-1573 from what appears to be a man (although it might be a computer) advising me that his office can get me monthly disability payments.  I asked why I would do that since I am not disabled.  He countered with "couldn't you use and extra $2,000 a month for life".  (I sure could but, I'm not disabled.)  Apparently his office could help me.  I said, "Isn't that fraudulent?  Shouldn't taxpayer's money be used for those who are truly disabled?"  Again, he said his office could help me get this monthly money.  I told him I thought this was a scam ... suddenly the call connection was dropped"

The week I got my AARP card in the mail calls like these started coming - disability, social security, meds, etc. This one number, 631-866-1573 is relentless. If you ignore the call, they call again and again (I finally put the number on my blocked list). Both times I gave in and answered I talked to Scott (who, like Madonna,  doesn't have a last name, I asked). Scott doesn't know my name, which is a relief, he's just phishing for a sucker. Please people - NEVER EVER give any information to anyone calling you! Just quiz them and get as much info as you can so you can report these jerks.

Now I know not to answer the calls I get from this number. It's true, whoever is calling is definitely relentless. Literally keeps calling many times in a row even though I've never answered. They never leave a voicemail.
