Mitch called from Home advisers on our business line. I quickly googled the number and saw the previous post, and didn't answer. Mitch left a message suggesting that he had some contacts in the local area with some IT projects and wanted to know if we'd be interested. Left a number to call back.

Admittedly, this was one of the better cold calls. He actually left a message, but my guess is that he's an outsourced business networking company that wants to help with our business presence or something. I usually don't answer numbers outside the main area codes because we get a ridiculous amount of solicitations. Still glad I didn't pick up, but unlike most cold calls, he spoke good English and actually left a message. Thank you, but still, no thank you.
