This call was from Erica of Mainstreet Merchant located in the NYC Metro area. They are a high interest rate merchant cash advance company. "High interest" defined as over 40%. Once they obtain your credit and personal information they will shop you around to many lenders, who all pull your credit scores, thus dropping your credit score due to the number of inquiries.
