Asked for the owner by name.  I asked for his name, he told me Donnie, I asked who he was with and he said his last name was Walsh.  I repeated myself and ask what company he was with.  He told me Imperial, I then asked him what it was regarding.  He responded that it was great news, offers that the owner would know about.

The owner was standing next to me the entire time;  if someone does not prove they are a legitimate caller they do not get to speak to the owner.  I've taken enough of these calls that I can tell not only by the caller id, but also by the way they respond to my questions.  He was greatly annoyed that I was questioning him and not getting the owner.  I asked for his number so that the owner could call him back.  Of course he responded that he would call back.

My boss told me I should have told him to not call back.  Like that would stop them.
