caller ID California cell phone.Answered no one on line,believed to be robo call.

I.D. reads Alert. I turned off answering machine so I did not have to listen to the annoying crap.

Broke my usual rule and answered the call from this number.  Robo call - start of message said, "Don't hang up - this is not a sales call."  So I hung up!!!!  They never give up, do they!!!!!!!!

Looks to be robo call from telemarketer. The usual garbage.

Robo call from cell phone, left a message on my answering machine claiming to be AARP, supposedly giving away free Life Alert systems to seniors 65 years and older.
I think it's fraudulent because AARP would use a landline, they wouldn't be calling someone too young to qualify (myself) or a person whom I used to live with that is now deceased because they should have been notified of their death and cancelled their membership.
