got a call just before noon (didn't answer) and again this afternoon at 10 til 5(this time i picked up), callerID showed "out of area", but i am in 626 areacode..... after long pause, "lewis" from "california energy center" asked for me, said he was doing "consultation scheduling" in our area---i asked him name of company and location-los angeles- and then asked him why his employer has bogus spoofed callerID displaying, why when i call number i get "dooo daaa deee, we're sorry..." recording, why he, "lewis" from "california energy center", would think i'd ever believe anything he said.....he faked astonishment that callerID was bad, then he hung up. 1 more call and i'll block'im! i truly believe phone company should not be allowed to charge money for callerID til they deliver to us the paying customer the same data they provide to toll free line subscribers with each incoming call, accurate calling-party info. and i think a good way to fight back against these callers is to waste as much of their time as you can when they call....or send em to the cemetary's address
