TRVL GETWTY SOS

No message

Suspect telemarketer with some type of travel deal. May have something to do with our recent contact with Diamond Resorts International.

Got a call from 626-521-5572 today. We've gotten several calls from other odd numbers not in our area code 917-398-9502 and 905-905-7888 and they are all telemarketers for some debt collection crap company usually out of Florida.
Unless we know the number calling we don't answer the phone anymore.

Got a call from this today. Supposedly someone entered our phone number for this "trip" we've won (obviously a scam) claiming to be that a friend of ours submitted our phone number from Canadian Tire, Walmart or Zellers.

We're on the do not call list and that's the second time we've gotten this call in 2 months. They're being reported.

Called here and left a blank message on the voice mail.

Obviously a scam or a telemarketer as they know we would not likely call them back.

I hate blank messages .... if it happens more than once it is harrassment in my books.

It is a scam. A machine tells you that you have won a vacation. Press 1 to claim it. A live operator follows a long script that is intended to make you believe that you are on your way to a glorious vacation. Towards the end of the call they try to get you to hand over a credit card number. Some people must fall for this to these criminals should be reported to the police.
