this person is calling saying this is an important phone call, and i need to retain my lawyer. i have received type of call before they are frauds.

RECEIVING THREATENING PHONE CALLS. THERE IS AN ACTIVE POLICE INVESTIGATION ON THIS NUMBER

I AM GETTING CALLS FROM A STEVE WATSON, SURE HE IS INDIAN, FROM THIS NUMBER THREATING ME ABOUT A PAYDAY LOAN. I ALSO AM FILING A NEW POLICE REPORT. 6 MONTHS AGO THESE SAME TYPES OF PEOPLE STARTED CALLING ME AT MY WORK BUT STATED THEY WERE AMERICAN CREDIT SERVICES. NOW THEY ARE PAY POINT.

Lisa, the same thing happened to me. Got calls from these same typs of ppl a couple months ago stating they were from American Credit Service; this time, though, when a Jeff Carter called, he didn't say where he was calling from. Also, when these ppl called a couple months ago, I told them I would pay them (the caller got very happy when I said that) if they fax me something over with my payment arrangements that they want me to follow. (I was NOT serious, I just wanted to see what I could get out of them). So they fax me over a very poorly worded document with the company Perwerx on it (mind you, they said they were ACS), with no type of loan # (they are saying I owe a payday loan), no name of the payday company or anything, & they wanted me to get it notarized. These ppl are scams & I want them to leave me alone & stop harassing me at my job!

THEY CALLED AND LEFT A MESSAGE SAYING THAT HIS NAME WAS A NATHAN BROOKS AND THAT A FRIEND OF MINE WAS IN TROUBLE THAT IT WAS VERY IMPORTANT THAT I CALLED THEM.
