Got this call 11/16/2014 7PM.
Knew my name-almost, that is! Wife picked up the phone, asked for his name.
Would NOT give his name.
Claimed he was collecting money for the DISABLED VETERANS.
Wife told him: NO NAME No MONEY!  
She put the phone on the table and just let him ramble on without her listening.
After a while he must have got the POINT!
Crooked AH of course!

I get these calls about once a day. Since there is no name on the Caller ID, I figure it's a solicitation for something and I don't answer and they hang up before leaving a msg.

Wanted money

got a call from this number i looked it up online and its from a town i never been too and i know no one from it so i just let it ring
that same number calls about 4-6 times a day
the one time i did answer it said they we're collecting on a bill my mother owed on and wanted my bank acct number to pay it

Had same caller callec me late at night
