Received voicemail stating they were the IRS . I returned call and someone named Steve with accent said that I owed taxes and that they were calling me before they take the case to court. I told him I wasn't aware that I owed any taxes and that my taxes were prepared by some tax preparer since 1998. He said I owed $3998.45 and then he transferred me to his supervisor John Davis who said in order to settle the case outside the lawsuit I would have to pay 50%. Now. Then he told me to call back in 1 hour at 620-307-9058 with $1000.

Drunk voice synthesizer called and left a message claiming to be from the IRS. I LOLed so hard, I almost fell out of my chair. I find it difficult to believe that anyone would fall for this.

received a call from more than one OFFICER from the IRS telling me to return the call before action is taken against me.  I know for sure i don't owe taxes!!! This call was Officer Heather Grey.
