Caller ID says "CARD ASSIST". They leave no message.
I call back after hours (using *67 to block my number). Their outgoing message is "Welcome to our customer communications management platform. It is likely that you have been contacted by one of our representatives and are calling back for additional information or to request that we refrain from calling you in the future. Please, listen to the following prompts and select the information that best meets your needs. If you would like to be connected to one of our customer service representatives, please, press 1 now. If you would like to have your telephone number input into our do-not-call database please, press, 2 now. If you would like to leave a voice message, please, press 3 now, and it will be delivered to our customer care department. If you would like to report your concerns regarding out marketing practices or to provide your comments to the regulatory agencies that govern our industry, please, press 4 now. If you would like to hear these selections again, please, press 9." (I never use their do-not-call list as it can actually make things worse)
Their caller ID is vague. Despite their lengthy message they never give their name nor do they even describe what they do. This smells like a SCAM.
Based on their caller ID alone, I'm guessing that they are some variety of the lower your credit card interest SCAM.
