Rang once, hung up,no voice message

Called asking for my support for some Police organization, wanted home address to send a packet with more information.  Might have been calling for a real non profit, but can't take the chance. Too many use Police and fire fundrasing as a way to steal personal infomration

Not one Police organization  calls  and asks for donations they come by your home personally.

Will county police department calls to solicit donations for youth programs.

Almost every Law Enforcement, public service group and or military non=profits / charities use telemarketing to raise funding for their various programs. If a uniformed officer is coming to your home and asking for a donation, that is borderline abuse of power and might actually be illegal. And most groups that use fundraisers to help them, do it for a reason, and it in-turn provides jobs for Americans, here in America...compared to your cable or cell company farming out their call centers overseas!!!
