Caller ID says Service Call.  Alton, IL area.  Most calls coming from Alton are bogus.

This is a fraudulent company that calls vehicle owners about their expired/expiring factory warranty, and asks owners to "go over options". If you tell them that your warranty does not expire for a few months, and that you have an extended warranty, they will hang up on you. ALWAYS ASK THEM their name, and ASK THEM who they work for, then use your best judgment as to determine whether they are fraudulent. Giving your credit card, or any personal information over the phone to a fraudulent company may result in IDENTITY THEFT. Stay safe everyone.

Thank you for your post, as I just received this call about 20 mins ago. Didn't leave a message. I don't answer ANY number I don't know for these exact purposes and I Google the numbers afterwards. I'm thankful you already dealt w/whomever was on the other line.

Answered the call because it looked like a cell phone number. It was a lady calling about the extended warranty on a car we sold almost 3 years ago. When I told her we no longer owned the car she asked what vehicles we currently own to which I replied, "None of your business" and she hung up! How rude! Don't waste your time answering the call - it's just another telemarketer!

As others said, this is a scam extended warranty company. Don't give them information. Just hang up and add them to your block list.

I've been getting a lot of calls like this from the Southern Illinois region lately.
