I had placed an add on a FB puppy site here in NJ. He messaged me this morning. We had been texting all day on phone # 978-733-0427 I got an e-mail first from a guy named MattLarry Kelvin saying it was $1,000 for them to send me a boxer puppy. First the puppy I picked put was a fawn but he said it was a female and I wanted a male. So I Said no thanks. He then quickly changed the story and said the puppy was a male. Through out the day he told me the dog comes with food bed toys and ect. Which was very nice. But things became fishy in the afternoon after I got a text from him asking all my information so he could get the puppy ready to go. The first e-mail had my address wrong. I told him and he said he was correcting it. I then got a text from this number asking me if I read and understood all the info in my e-mail. I said yes. I then called the phone # from my work phone and it was a "Terry Costello" Female voice of course. It was a google # and A man answered and said I must be calling about my puppy that's already at the cargo place waiting my payment...
I became a little suspicious so I was talking to a friend who told me she had a friend this same thing happened to her with a cat and I should NOT go any further I should google the #. So I did and BOOM A scam. I then texted them back and told them I would prefer to pick my puppy up I would drive the 3 hrs to Boston. He stated that the puppy was already at check in. I said that's fine let me know where I can go get hi,. I keep getting text messages from both #'s saying Someone had to of hacked them they are not scammers and they are legit. JUST BE WARE PEOPLE...
