didn't answer

missed the call, other reviews say call warrenty crap

I Didn't recognize so didn't answer - later read it was the same old warranty sales pitch.  
But - I did find out its an unlisted Land Line

got a call from this number 6177787186. no one on the other end of the line when i answered. i receive calls from car warranty crap all the time and have tried to get them to remove my number from their call list, but they always hang up on me and i am also on the DO NOT CALL LIST. i have heard that this is a scam and i am fed up with these calls. i am considering taking action, just to stop these ignorant people from calling my number.

I entertained the car warranty guys one time. I wanted to see how it worked. It went like this.

"which of my cars are you calling about?"
"uh, i don't know"
"how do you not know? you're calling me"
"I have no idea. we use an random auto-dialing system and if someone answers, we offer them our third party warranty."
"oh, ok, well take me off of your calling list then."
"no"
"what do you mean, no?"
"I don't have to do anything"
"well, you know. by law, if i tell you to take me off of your--click..........

Those same guys show up on my caller id with different numbers all the time. I save them on my phone as "SPAM. DO NOT ANSWER."
