I get several calls aday from these people, they never leave a message on the machine, and when i answer the phone they never say anything.  anybody know who they are? they're pain in the butt

I just got a call from this number, and when I answered no one said anything but I could hear several voices in the background.  I returned the call and after a few rings a recorded female voice said only "Please leave your numeric message after the tone" and then there were a series of beeps.

they call called twice. first call no one responded. second call next day I didn't respond when I picked up phone, and a male eventually started speaking,knew my name, and said he was from a chimney sweeping company and would be in our area.I asked him to stop calling,he hung up. we have been on the do not call registry for 6 months.

Very strange call.  Knew my name and eventually mumbled something about chimney sweep and then hung up.  When I tried to call back to see what this was about, I got the same recorded message.  Then, they called back next day and did not speak.  I am also on the Do Not Call registry.

This number also is calling me.  He said he could clean the furnace and pipes.  Scam to me.  Maybe they call to see if people are home, and if u don't answer they will rob your house.
