a  missed call

After several days of receiveing calls from numbers reported on this website, this number came up as a local newspaper in Albany NY (Times Union.)  It was a telemarketer trying to get to subscribe.  I already get this paper, but realized that I filled out a sweepstake form at a local grocery market sponsored by this newspaper.  I will be calling the paper to complain.

So much for Do Not Call sign up

The call several times a day and are highly annoying.  Local Times Union Newspaper.

I also am receiving calls from this number several times a week but never answer the phone. And when my answering machine picks up the call, they hang up never leaving a message.  I agree with Fred. So much for the DO NOT CALL registry!  Thank you all for the information on who is calling. Now I know.
