They call me 15 - 20 times a day so I turned the table on them....I started calling them and not saying nothing, they would hang up so I would call them back and not say anything and after about the 10th call I started laughing when they answered.  after about another 10 calls I started just saying it's me again, they would apologize for the inconvenience and I then would say I am too.  They then told me they could put me on the do not call list and I told them that maybe they want me to put them on the do not call list.   Then I would immediately call them back and just say it's me again.  I could then hear them ask their supervisor if they should just hang up on me.  After about 50 phone calls from me to them within an hour I stopped.  I'm curious if they will call me again.  If they do I'm going to start all over again.  Free long distance on a magic Jack phone is a great defense.  What is even funnier is this number is a Grand Rapids Michigan number but you talk to people from many different states.  I have had a lot of fun doing this and I think I will try it with even more telemarketers.  What a way to spend an evening with a case of beer.  Good luck all...I will let you know if they call me anymore.  Oh by the way...I even told a few of their employees they need to check out this website and see what other people think of them.....Happy St. Paddy's Day all.

This is Direct Energy.  I've told them that I'm not interested but that hasn't stopped them or even slowed their calls.  When I see their number pop up on my cell, I just let it go into voicemail although they NEVER leave a message.  I really wanted to see just how many times they would call me in a day, over the past two weeks the record is 16 times; gospel truth.  I stopped counting when the total number topped 100 (it's WELL beyond that now) but still it continues.  Amazing!

I got calls a few times a day as well...just called the number back and someone answered, but he mumbled so I couldn't make out the company name.  I am now going to call them multiple times per day on my work number and hang up every time they answer, and see how they like it!!

I just called the number back and actually was able to talk to someone. It was Direct Energy and he claimed they are removing my number. I will post again if I get a call after the 24 hour wait period that he said it took for it to go through.
