Of course it's a scam. No legit company operates in this manner. My suggestion is to not bother picking up the telephone. waste of time.

Claiming they are filing pre legal papers for a debt collection

Have been receiving calls from NERG reps in regards to a relative and legal something or other. Several days ago I called them back and told them that I do not have that person's contact information.  Today, I received an automated call from the same NERG group but this time, they did not use my relative's name.  The message just said, "You have an outstanding legal matter.  Call us back."  But no call back number!    It is a very vague message and doesn't really say what the matter is . . . Some obscure "Legal Claim" reference.

I forgot to include the Caller ID Phone #  =     (614) 930-0375  And the correct spelling of the "company" is NARG

Frank or Rick Sentera ???? Call said they were turning matter over to "pre-legal department" and represented NARG
