Similar thing happened to me. Received an email subject: urgent purchase. Someone named Jeff Pitman (jpitman223@gmail.com) wanting to order 90 wreaths  asking what sizes and styles I offered. Sent him the link to my website to which he chose a wreath copied and pasted the photo into the email and requested 90 of them asking what type of payments we accept. To be clear- I knew this was a scam from the start but I played along. The first email he sent had a picture and an alternate email address of Billashley223@gmail.com. Saying he was in Salt lake, UT but wanted these shipped to New Zealand. I created an invoice for him after talking to my Shopify guru who told me to request copy of his ID without the license number, and photo of cc only showing last 4 digits, name and expiration. I doubt he will reply now. But still hoping he will place the order so I can forward the false CC info to authorities to stop these time wasting scammers. Its ridiculous!

they ordered over $7,000 worth of product and gave me a bogus shipping company (appointed shipping company) with a pathetic email address to which replied with a quote over $4,000 and a shipping truck made of /___o_____o__| character BS. This brought his total to over $11k. He also used Pitman Ventures LLC as his bogus business name as I googled everything (him, his company, his pathetic excuse for a shipping company) and found nothing but this crap. These scammers need to be stopped. Pathetic.

Our Company also got a string of emails from "Donald Watmore" at donaldwatmore@gmail.com, and "2304 Metz Place Midland,TX 79705" listed as the address. Almost in the same breath, we recieved a RFQ from "Clement Wells" from "paulziegler234@gmail.com" for the same items and a request to contact the shipper for them and have cc payment received. Shipping company listed was "havilashippingco@usa.com" and the shipping address is "P&P Supply Inc. Level 20, 28 Freshwater Place Southbank VIC Australia 3006" Dont fall for it folks!  Google and search engines are your friends, use them!
