Caller Id says Grove City OH. If they are genuinely representing Electronic Design magazine, then why doesn't that show up on caller Id (it is a free publication)? The number is spoofed. We actually get many calls every year about magazines, including paid subscriptions, but we will never give any of them a credit card number over the phone, as 99.9999% of them are frauds, along with all of the calls we get soliciting for charities which are not registered in Virginia or with the IRS.  We actually have five local breast cancer charity callers, each of which are frauds. Blocked.

Have called multiple times today for the same person in our office. I'm assuming they hang up after they've been transferred. Most likely a magazine renewal/scam... same difference. Obviously, if someone really wants to keep receiving a particular publication, they would renew themselves online. WASTE.OF.TIME.
