Called indicating this call requires my immediate attention today. Never mentioned her name or place of business. They indicated my name and social security number is in jeopardy if I do not return the call. The caller never mentioned my name as well. Immediate flag a scam.

This number called me saying they required my immediate attention. I called back and was told I was facing 2 felony charges against my name and social for a payday loan I never paid back when I said that I never took out a payday loan she basically read to me that my case would be going to a judge and hung up on me. I called back very irritated and confused and apparently I took out a loan stemming from equity funding ( which I can only find articles talking about them and scams) and told me I could repay so much today in order to not be able to go to court. Im feeling this is a scam but also scared I may be charged with a felony.

That is a scam definitely.  They can not threaten you with arrest, felonies, court or anything of the like.  These are all violations of fair consumer reporting.  they will try all sorts of tactics to get your money.  You should not entertain them.

I'm glad that I looked this up found everyone's story cause I got the same call and I figured something fishy about it.

I received the same phone call twice, one from Columbus and the other from Westerville. They said there is a case against me and they need to talk to me immediately.  But they didn't mention my name or what the case is.  This has to be a scam obviously.  It was an automated message on a recorded line.
