Collections is a hard job to do by trade, I understand this. Unfortunately it takes all types to do that line of work. A lot of times you get rude individuals. I know this I work in collections myself. Sadly a person may not start off that way, as they day continues and you get call after call after call of individuals who owe money cursing at you and already on the defensive cause they dont want to deal with the phone call. Collections like any other company out there is a business. You are getting upset because you screen your phone calls you answer with attitude and demand respect. Now im not defending the collections companies, they aren't perfect themselves. There is no reason we should answer our phnes and deal with rudeness, or hangups or ppl who are unwilling to listen. A collection agencies job, is a mediator. They are there to help you try to find solutions to your debt problems. If I am unwilling to pay my balance in full, they should be willing to help me set up a payment plan to get the issue resolved. like i said tho unfortunately it seems like there are more bad apples out there than good. Think of this tho. all these ppl here came to [***] and gripe about phone calls, how many of them do you think went to a website to praise something good that happened to them? People rarely hear or reember the good things. mostly they just rememebrt or complain about bad experiences. makes things kind of one sided dont you think?
