I missed the call, but if it is Focus Pointe, I do subscribe to their emails and I have participated in several of their focus groups.  It's usually very interesting, and for 2 hours of your time you get paid cash, and very well.  Could be $100 or $200!!  They didn't leave a message.  Check out their website and sign up.  They have offices all over the country.  I'm in Philadelphia, so not sure why the call I got was from an OH area code

As far as I'm aware, they don't contact you unless you are registered with them, but that only my direct experience.

Yup, I can attest to the validity of this caller. I've done several focus groups for them. And they do pay really well. And usually the studies are fairly fun to participate in. I've tasted pizza rolls, answered questions about automobile marketing and even got to preview the movie trailers for an upcoming film and provide my opinion. You sort of get an inside scoop on what companies want to know about their customers. The only time they've ever called me was for the purpose of seeing if I was interested in being a survey participant.
