Received only one call so far, no message left, but I didn't answer cause it is not a number I have programed.

Every time my son's Verizon bill is due they call my home phone.  I ask him if he paid it and he has not...so it IS Verizon.  When he pays it, I quit getting the calls.  It's never a live person if I answer.  It's always a recorded message (with my son's name attached), so I know he hasn't paid his bill.

They say they are Verizon's debt collection group but were unable to transfer me to customer service.  I also don't have any outstanding bills with Verizon.  Sounds like a scam to me.

SCAM! Says its Verizon calling about past due bill. My bill is never past due because it's on auto-pay with credit card. I've called the real Verizon customer service several times and they've assured me that my bill is not past due.
