Received a call from this number on August 4, 2015 at 13:15.  I was told this is a call from Linda James Emp Id 11846 from the Immigration office and that somebody had lodged a complaint back home at the Canadian embassy that I have violated the law and the Home Canadian Embassy forwarded to the Immigration Office at Canada and the police is going to come to arrest me from my home in Canada.  To avoid the arrest I need to have a lawyer or the police would provide me the lawyer.  To avoid the arrest, I should go to the nearest post office and pay 2800 Canadian dollar.  I was also connected to 1-911(police) and was asked to co-operate, to not to operate my phone - as it is being monitored and not to Ieave the country.  I was asked not to communicate to the media or third person.  When I called the immigration they said it was a fraud call and asked me to lodge a complaint to the immigration - fraud immediately.

I got a call this morning from a phone number 613-995-6486 and my phone display says Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. I was told me she is calling about my documentation that I submitted when I entered Canada as a student.  The information which was provided is incorrect so an arrest warrant will be issued for me. I will soon be getting a call from a police officer about it and if I do not give them my information they will come to arrest me.

I did got a call from 1911 and the officer demanded an email him, with in 10 min, the info from the CIC agent I was talking to along with a $3800 (refundable security deposit) cash payment at nearest post office to stall the warrant.

The officer informed me that I am not allowed to make or answer any calls. That my phone has been monitored for the last week because of the complaint that was filed against me regarding immigration fraud.

If I do not send my info and make the payment then they will come to arrest me with in 2 hours.

I have dealt with the different application processes and CIC has never contacted me by phone, always by snail-mail.

I know I haven't done anything wrong or provided any incorrect information so contacted the nearest police station.  They assured me that it was a scam and not to give any info or money.

Got a call from this number. had my full name. Told me similar to everything above and that i had broken a couple of laws and transferred money. That the police will be coming and what my address was. told them i am a citizen.

Got a Call from this number. Got worried for a second because i there was a complaint lodged against me. But things did not add up. When i asked what their website was, the person on the phone got flustered and started threatening me with police at my door.

Received a similar call today.  Asked her to write me a letter and I will respond.. I was aware of these prank calls.
