The same thing happened to me as other people here have stated. I received an automated call asking me to call David Walker at this number. It sounded fake so I googled it and came up with this page.

They called my friend today who panicked because of alleged tax fraud. I called back that number and a guy in south asian accent answered the phone. I asked if their company is from India. The foolish guy admitted, "No we're from Pakistan". He said they are a loan company called JD Corporation.  I asked how I can apply for a loan. But he said to call back the next day because they are already closing and to ask for David Walker. Is there a way to prosecute these pranksters?

We received two calls today but it was a recording who understands what their scam is?

received a message from David Walker, 613-706-0567 to call CRA Tax Audit Department. Sounded very unusual for CRA to be calling and using language not normal for them, ie. call back this very second. They did not identify the person they were calling for.

I got a call today when I answer it's a recording and says audit from cra and I need to call David walker and says don't ignore and said some kind of threatening words I didn't call back because if the cra needs to audit they won't call instead they'll send me a letter for it ..,
