I got a call to call Officer David Walker and was told I was going to be arrested for tax evasion if I didn't pay over $4000.00 dollars. The only difference is the phone number I was to call was 613-704-4496. I hope these idiots get caught.

I just received the same call. It is a message saying do not disregard this message that it is from cra . Income tax audit to call David Walker. The message does not say who they even want to talk to. Since there is three adults in my home who do they want. Big scam do not call back.

Same crap, told me my wife was going to be arrested for unpaid taxes. Frigging low life scum sucking piece of crap. If he had an a ounce of brains he would not answer the phone outside normal office hours.

Message from 613 706 0567 to call CRA Audit Department immediately - David Walker.  I called, bad connection, english very poor, did not give any info.  Asked how i wanted to take care of 'misfiled' tax returns back to 2008.  I asked what the issue was? David's reply was 'not his department, only to collect'  He did not mention any $ amounts.
I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said I couldn't.
Total Scam in my opinion.

When I picked up the phone - the message said that I was to call David Walker of the CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) as soon as possible, and to call back between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m..  I was not able to call at that time; but this gave me time enough to realize that the message did not say who the call was for, and why would CRA call me instead of notifying me by mail, if there was a problem.  This morning I decided to try and look up the phone number and/or David Walker on 411, without any results; then decided to put it through google with the name and number and this is where I found that my suspicions were founded and this IT IS A SCAM!!!!
