Voice message claims to be CRA

I didn't answer today, but they left a message once before. as Maneli says... it is an ugly scam according to a RCMP I spoke to, and if you are on to them, they call back again and again and call you filthy names.  Don't pick up at all.

I  got a voicemail from this number claiming CRA will take legal action. I don't owe the CRA anything  so this is suspicious. I called back twice and after one ring, the call ended.  CRA don't call people if they owe money. They'll send you a letter. I got a voicemail last month too about my SIN number so I  called CRA.  They said they didn't call me. This is  all a scam.

These scum bags were calling my sister.. she started calling the number back and hanging up.. Now they Blocked her number.. everyone should call this number an keep them busy !

Thank you for sharing your experiences. My husband and I were getting really worried until we read this and now everything said here makes sense and yes, CRA always sends letters and we received none.
