I didn't answer this call but I see on other Internet "Who called me" type sites that it is suddenly a VERY active number and is trying to threaten people with fake Revenue Canada threats over non-existent  "unpaid taxes". It's really too bad that the telephone service providers are all in bed with the CRTC, and that therefore those phone companies cannot be compelled BY LAW to deploy and use the ALREADY AVAILABLE technologies that can track/trace and stamp out phone scammers. Personally, I think this makes the phone companies criminally complicit in the illegal activities of the phone scammers.

I REPEAT 613 689 406(8?)....THANK YOU AND HAVE A GREAT DAY".

Its a hoax.... Canada Revenue Agency won't do this by phone even if this made sense, they send correspondence BY CANADA POST MAIL OR TO YOUR TAX ACCOUNTANT/REPRESENTATIVE.

****I can't help but think this phone prank/scam was initiated to my daughter sending me a joke phone prank last week ....one of those joke pre-recorded ones....and somehow my home number got registered into some scammers database.... not certain about this but it could be the source.

I just called this number back because they left a message saying they were from CRA regarding case file bla bla bla.   He had a Pakistan?, East Indian?, non Canadian accent and would not talk with me.  It was regarding a personal matter not company.  I googled the phone number and see others have experienced similar calls.

Robot scam  call.. same message as above.. true scam artist,, they must be stopped.. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have just received phone call from this number . It is a pre-recorded message about CRA related to tax problem... voice is with Indian or Pakistani accent ..Didn't listen the message, just hung up. It is ongoing fraud!
