We get calls from this number frequently and there is no one at the other end.  We hang up.

I have reached the point where, if I don't know the number, I just don't answer.

The calls come in every evening shortly before 9:00pm.  When I pick up they hang up.  I called the number and this is the message:  You have reached the info line for the National Capital Sports Council for the Disabled etc. etc. and giving a 1-800-650-4263 which is the "care centre" and not accessible from our calling area.

I have sent e-mails to the NCSCD telling them to please stop the calling.  I have yet to receive a response.  I will be contacting Bell Canada in the hope that they can put a stop to this nonsense.

Yesterday I reported the above number and have spent most of the morning today to find out who these annoying people are.

Well folks, here's another example where the number belongs to the good folks at XENTEL.......telemarketing firm used by non-profits and charities alike.  With donor dollars so hard to come by these days, why would any organization pay 87% of whatever they receive to the telemarketing company.

This is what is happening out these.  Chances are that most of the calls you get are from XENTEL....so call them today and have your number put on the DO NOT CALL LIST and then call the CRTC and register your number there as well.
