Yes....  They claim to be CRA Auditors... They threaten you with issuing an arrest warrant unless you pay almost 2 thousand dollars.   It's a big scam.

I received a call from a man who was clearly in need of English lessons, identified himself as a CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) auditor.  The Audit department of the CRA calls people now and threatens to cancel your social insurance number, your passport, your drivers license, as well as issue an arrest warrant, unless you pay the outstanding balance on your file.  My bill was $1968.42.  ... I asked for my file number.  Because this is a confidential call he would not release this to me.  I asked for his name and ID #  He told me his name, I could never be able to pronounce it if you asked me.  I told them to issue the arrest warrant and I would like to speak to a judge about this.  He was persistent on settling the matter for me today by paying something on this bill to show my good faith.  It is clearly a scam, preying on people who don't know any better.  I think if they spoke better English they might have more success.  Lets hope they fail miserably.

Prince Wilson called claiming issues with my taxes from 2013 - Claiming I missed reporting almost 20K in income... Sounded like a scam, so I asked for a case number and said I would call the 1-800 number of the CRA and I would ask for him with the case number... his last word were "No one there will help you" and he hung up.

BTW the CRA only sends you POSTAL communications to launch investigations - they do not call you.

Similar to others, I received a call from this number claiming a lawsuit by the Canada Revenue Agency. They had my address and postal code, which some may be fooled by. They were very aggressive and forceful when I told them it didn't seem genuine. When I repeatedly asked who I was speaking with I was hung up on. I am reporting this number to the CRA.
