Said they were Mastercard, had last 4 digits of credit card and wanted to give away Walmart gift card

Have received several calls from 613-333-3456 (also several calls a day from a 305#). I do not answer cell phone calls unless I recognize the number or called ID I recognize.  There should be a way to block these on my phone from my cell carrier. It's annoying!

They got my info and began calling me 4 months ago. I found out my card had been used to buy Wartrol and I immediately returned it but they still had my card's last 4 and phone number.

Says I won $500 for some shopping spree. we all know where that leads. "Now all i need is the rest of the information on your credit card to verify this is you. (so we can go spending all your money while you wait for a fake $500 card that isnt coming)

that is what I would expect it to be anyhow. I threatened them with a lawsuit

Caller spoke very fast, wanted to verify my address.  Said something about WalMart and receiving a $100 gift card.  Said they need the rest of my info. I hung right up.  SCAM ARTISTS.  BEWARE!

613-333-3456 just called me.  Female with thick Indian accent had the last 4 digits of my credit card and said they wanted to give me a $100 gift card for using my credit card.  I stopped her mid-sentence and told her that this was bullsh*t and I was having none of it.  I'm tired of these damn scammers!
